The BMIC Crew visits MCIA Motorcycle Live 2023
From 16th – 24th November one of Britain’s biggest motorcycle events took place at the NEC in Birmingham. The BMIC were there to admire the latest models, impressive stands but catch up with a few of our BMIC friends we have made throughout the year.
The first brand that welcomed us was the impressive Norton stand. Their reimagined branding and marketing campaign to showcase their rich and illustrious history was proudly on display, where vintage and modern models grab your attention.
Plenty of the big manufacturers showed a great presence at the show: Honda, BMW Motorrad, Suzuki, Ducatti, CCM and plenty more.
There was also a live test ride arena and performances to enjoy.
As we wondered the many halls, we caught up with our friends The Sidecar Guys Matt & Reece to take us on a tour of their Ural stand and tell us what they have planned for their latest adventures. Their world tour is now available in a new book, as well as going on a passenger or rider Sidecar Experience with the guys across the beautiful North East of England.
Another vintage Norton caught our attention but was on display at the Mental Health Motorbike stand, where we bumped into another BMIC friend, Paul for a catch up. Showing us around their stand, we got to meet some of the inspiring individuals who are supporting others who may be facing difficult challenges. Paul showed us the Mental Health Motorbike Welfare & Support Vehicle; a quiet, private safe space for anyone attending the show to get their first point of contact with their incredible team of mental health first aiders.
Here is just a small selection of the stands and bikes that caught our eye
